Ministry Opportunities

The Children's Ministry is like a city on the hill. It takes over 25 people to cover all of our needs for each service. We always have needs, and there are many different departments or areas you can choose to serve.

·	Teacher: Responsible for leading the class, teaching the lessons, and leading other activities unless designated to the assistant.

·	Assistant: Assist the teacher, sign in and out, manage restroom visits; and help, if asked, with lessons, preparing crafts, games, etc.

·	K.I.M.: Kids in Ministry who serve as a junior assistant or “Trail Guide”.

·	Ministry Arts: Helping in several areas: Worship, drama, puppets, and special events, etc.

·	Trail Guide: Help to provide a safe, structured environment for the students by leading them from class to class or activity to activity. Assisting the teacher’s with sign in and out, engaging the children in activities, managing restroom visits.

Security/Traffic Director: Maintains close vigilance of the Children's Ministry facilities and occupants, stays in the halls during the service, directs traffic of kids to different classrooms, maintains time schedules, distributes flyers, greets new families and escorts them to class, enforces policies and procedures, etc.

·	Special Needs Assistant: works with children with special needs, one-on-one, allowing them to be a part of the classrooms activities and teaching.

here is what you need to do:

•See and talk to Tripp Turner, Linda Gallego or Lori Watts after second service or
Make an appointment to meet with one of the Children's Ministry Staff members:
Linda Gallego, Tripp Turner or Lori Watts.

•Pick-up or print out and complete a Children's Ministry Application Form.

•Interview – by Children’s Ministry Staff member

•Reference Check – Including a background check for criminal history by background verification service.

•Final Approval
